August 2016 Was my last time holding my boxerfest keychain in my hands... I told myself I can’t use it until I get another subie, had to keep it clean.lol I asked myself how can I pay homage to my jag and bugeye at the same time? Some know the dilemmas I was going through with just buying a house and still trying to get my business and side hustles up and running, I just knew getting a car note would “interrupt “ some of my play by play plans(I really wanted a 14 sti hatch or 17 wrx). So I made a sacrifice of buying something that’s newer and quick and just decided to slowly build a non looker car. A few weeks ago I picked up a 00 outback and she needed work! However I was more excited than anything to get her running and shined up. We all know outback’s are for a very small targeted group of enthusiasts who like to stand out only when necessary, so here we are. Those who know me know I buy abnormal or least popular types of cars. So This is my 2000 timberline green pearl Subaru Legacy outback 5mt. I can go on and on about my feelings toward this but I’ll save that for another time Let the games begin! 2 weeks after swapping the clutch the head gasket decided it was gonna head out. Ended up swapping the motor for one with less miles and all the updated maintenance. Timing belt, water pump, head gaskets, and full tune up. Had a few hiccups but we made it happen swapping it with a fork lift and basic tools lol I’m excited to share my journey and transition to making this old hipster wagon to cloutback it was meant to be! Get ready to see my vision become reality.
